PART I – CUSTOMER TERMS & CONDITIONS

Introduction

Welcome to Xtendedspace Technology Private Limited ("Xtendedspace", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms govern all individuals and businesses ("Customer", "User", "you") who use our website, mobile application, or any service channel operated by Xtendedspace.

By booking or using our relocation or storage services, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Xtendedspace provides:

  • Relocation Services – packing, transport, and delivery managed directly by Xtendedspace
  • Storage Services – connecting Customers with verified Hosts through a secure marketplace

Eligibility & Registration

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older and legally competent
  • Provide accurate personal and address details
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • Notify Xtendedspace immediately of any unauthorized access

Xtendedspace may verify identity via OTP, KYC, or documents and may suspend accounts with inaccurate or suspicious details.

Scope of Services

Xtendedspace offers digital tools for booking, communication, and secure payments related to relocation and storage. Services are provided subject to city availability and operational capacity. We may modify or discontinue features without prior notice.

Bookings & Payments

A booking creates a direct contract for relocation with Xtendedspace, or a tri-party arrangement for storage (Customer + Host + Xtendedspace as facilitator).

  • Payments must be made through approved gateways
  • Prices include applicable taxes and service fees
  • Any additional charges (e.g., packing materials, labor extension, or waiting time) will be communicated before final invoice
  • Invoices are issued electronically with GST details

Security Deposits (for Storage)

Certain Hosts may require refundable deposits. Refunds are processed within 7 business days after inspection.

Insurance & Risk Coverage

Xtendedspace prioritizes safety but cannot eliminate risk entirely.

For Relocation

Insurance is optional; Customers may purchase via Xtendedspace's insurer or independently. In case Insurance is taken, Claims must be raised promptly, and Xtendedspace will assist with insurer coordination but bears no liability beyond policy terms.

For Storage

Insurance is mandatory and generally included in the storage fee. Claims must be raised promptly, and Xtendedspace will assist with insurer coordination but bears no liability beyond policy terms.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate pickup/drop addresses and item lists
  • Pack goods safely (if self-packed)
  • Not allowed to keep any fragile, high value items (Like – Gold, Cash, silver)
  • Avoid storing or transporting prohibited goods (explosives, perishables, contraband, narcotics, cash, jewelry, hazardous waste, etc.)
  • Be present or appoint an authorized representative at pickup and delivery
  • Clear all payments as per agreed timelines

Failure to comply may result in service denial or cancellation without refund.

Service Execution

Schedules depend on logistics availability. Xtendedspace aims to meet agreed timelines but delays from traffic, weather, or government restrictions do not constitute service failure. Customers must verify items at delivery and sign acknowledgement forms.

Storage Services

  • 30-day vacate notice required. Refunds after inspection and dues clearance.

If Xtendedspace cancels a booking due to operational reasons, a 100% refund is issued within 7–10 business days.

Digital Acceptance

By clicking "I Agree", submitting forms, or making payments, you digitally accept these Terms. Digital acceptance is legally binding under the Information Technology Act 2000 and requires no physical signature.

Liability Limitation

Xtendedspace is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss from incorrect declarations or inadequate packing
  • Events beyond control (force majeure)
  • Negligence of third-party Hosts in storage arrangements

Maximum liability is limited to fees paid for the specific service.

Feedback & Communication

Customers may submit ratings and reviews. By doing so, you grant Xtendedspace a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display that content for service improvement and marketing. Official communication (invoices, notices, updates) will be sent to your registered email or WhatsApp.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Customer Terms will first be resolved amicably. If unresolved within 30 days, it proceeds to private arbitration as per Part IV – General Clauses.

PART II – HOST (STORAGE PARTNER) TERMS & CONDITIONS

Host Introduction

These Terms apply to all individuals or businesses ("Host", "you") who list, rent out, or manage storage spaces ("Space") through Xtendedspace Technology Pvt. Ltd. ("Xtendedspace", "we", "our").

By registering as a Host on the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all operational guidelines issued by Xtendedspace.

PART II

Role of Xtendedspace

Xtendedspace acts as a facilitator between Hosts and Customers. We provide a secure platform for listings, bookings, payments, and verification. Xtendedspace does not own or lease any listed storage space and is not a lessor or sub-lessor.

Host Eligibility & Listing Requirements

To register as a Host, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older (or a legally registered business)
  • Have ownership or legal rights to rent the property
  • Comply with all local laws, zoning, and fire regulations
  • Provide accurate details on size, access, and safety

False or misleading information may lead to delisting or suspension.

Verification Process

Xtendedspace may verify the property via document review, photos, or physical inspection. Listings go live only upon verification approval. Hosts must maintain the verified condition of the premises.

Host Responsibilities

Hosts must:

  • Maintain a clean, dry, and secure space
  • Allow customer access during agreed timings
  • Prevent unauthorized entry or movement of goods
  • Report damage or incidents promptly
  • Maintain valid insurance coverage
  • Follow all safety and fire regulations
  • Inspect goods before storage ensuring no fragile, illegal or hazardous goods are kept

Insurance (Mandatory)

Hosts must maintain insurance covering fire, theft, natural disasters, and third-party liability. Proof must be furnished on request. Failure to maintain valid insurance may lead to suspension.

Pricing, Fees & Payments

Hosts set base storage prices subject to Xtendedspace review. Customers pay Xtendedspace, and payouts are made to Hosts within 7 business days of booking start after deducting fees and taxes.

Host cancellation may result in penalties, suspension, or delisting.

Taxes & Compliance

Hosts are responsible for all statutory taxes including GST and property tax. Xtendedspace may deduct TDS and issue certificates as per law.

Host Liability & Indemnity

Hosts are responsible for stored goods except where covered by insurance. Xtendedspace is not liable for Host negligence or policy violations. Hosts indemnify Xtendedspace for any loss, claim, or liability arising from their conduct or breach of these Terms.

Host Termination & Suspension

Xtendedspace may suspend or terminate Host accounts for fraud, unsafe conditions, or repeated poor ratings. Pending payouts may be withheld until dispute resolution.

Host Communication

All communications including payments and notices shall be sent via registered email or WhatsApp.

PART III – RELOCATION SERVICES TERMS

Relocation Services Scope

Xtendedspace provides packing, loading, transportation, and delivery of goods across India subject to operational feasibility.

PART III

Quotation & Booking

Quotations remain valid for seven (7) days. Additional charges apply for heavy goods, stairs, waiting, or dismantling. Bookings are confirmed upon 25% advance payment.

Customer Obligations (Relocation)

Customers must declare all items, ensure parking access, remove valuables, supervise packing, and clear payments before unloading.

PART III

Packing & Material

Standard packing uses cartons, stretch wrap, and bubble wrap. Premium packing is available on request. Xtendedspace is not responsible for damage to self-packed items.

Insurance (Optional)

Transit insurance is optional. Claims must be raised within 72 hours of delivery. Customers declining insurance do so at their own risk.

Delays & Force Majeure

Xtendedspace is not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, strikes, or government restrictions.

Damages & Claims

Visible damage must be noted at delivery; hidden damage within 24 hours. Liability limited to insured or invoice value, whichever is lower.

Prohibited Items

Customers must not transport explosives, weapons, perishables, plants, or contraband. Violation may lead to cancellation without refund and reporting to authorities.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required before vehicle release. Late dues may incur 2% monthly interest.

PART IV – GENERAL CLAUSES

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts at New Delhi, India.

Arbitration

Disputes shall be resolved by private arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. A sole arbitrator appointed by Xtendedspace shall preside. Venue and seat: New Delhi, India. Language: English.

PART IV

Privacy & Data Protection

Xtendedspace collects and processes personal data only for service delivery and statutory compliance. Data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

PART IV

Intellectual Property

All Platform content, logos, and software are proprietary to Xtendedspace. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

PART IV

Force Majeure

No party shall be liable for delays or failures due to natural calamities, pandemics, or government restrictions.

Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify Xtendedspace against losses, claims, or expenses arising from their breach of these Terms.

PART IV

Termination

Xtendedspace may suspend or terminate services for misuse or breach without prior notice.

Confidentiality

Operational and business information exchanged shall remain confidential unless disclosure is mandated by law.

PART IV

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior understanding.

Final Acceptance

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions. Digital consent has the same effect as a physical signature under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
